Are you getting married in the Winter and thinking you want Winter Save the Dates? Or do you and your partner just really love the Minne-Snow-Ta weather? Let's do a winter engagement!!! There are ENDLESS opportunities to have a good time! Sure your cold, and your nose is running and gross but damn it sure makes for a unforgettable time with your lover!
Looking back on this engagement, Holly and Wes NAILED their outfits. Was she frozen in that dress with lace arms, you betcha. Were her feet toasty warm in her boots under that dress, mmmmhh they were. Did we have to take breaks to warm up in a blanket, OF COURSE! Let's all admit it though, IT. WAS. WORTH. IT.
Not only did they have these elegant outfits they also changed into something a little more relaxed and we had some fun (see last photos) ! Also adding in their fur baby was a plus!
Just because you don't have the colorful, crisp trees, or the the fall outfits everyone is obsessed with (including me) you will have the beautiful sparkling snow and the body temperature to keep each other warm. What better excuse then to snuggle up with your loved one!
Side note, my 4yr old asked me today why the snow had glitter on it and my HEART FREAKIN MELTED!! I told him that it looks like that when the sun hits it just right.
He. Was. In. Awe! I love the innocences of a child's mind!
Okay, so what I'm saying is that if my 4 yr old can see the beauty in the snow so can you! We always make sure you are warm, take breaks, bring a hot cocoa and we never forget HAND WARMERS! So step outside of your comfort zone and embrace what Mother Nature provides us!
Have you ever traveled to the red rocks of Arizona? Are you thinking of planning an elopement? In Sedona the air is crisp, the views are breathtaking and it makes you feel, deep inside, like you have a purpose in life. The golden sun was setting about 5:30pm on November 4th and this couple just topped off the views.
Working with Amanda and David was a dream come true. Their love for one another shines the minute they lock eyes. Being at the edge of the cliff watching them with one another as they enjoyed the sunset, worked with the horse and danced the night away was an experience of a lifetime.
Sedona is a place where you feel as if the world is going to be okay. Where you can sit on the edge of a rock and clear your mind, go for a hike to enjoy the views, or marry your best friend.
If you're ever thinking of eloping and aren't much of a hiker, Sedona has many places, just like this one, that is easy to get to yet feels like you've hiked miles.
So thankful for this opportunity and we couldn't have done it without any of these amazing vendors!
They heard it all day.
